Against busywork, towards results

At the rate that money is being spent, projects being implemented and achievements trumpeted, there should not be a single hungry person in the world, no climate disasters, no ignored communities, no tragic deaths. The opposite unfortunately, is the truth. In fact, we have a good case to say that the impact and sustainability of the sum of efforts in a given area are inversely proportional to the number people, money, resources and ideas thrown into it. On the one side, the word cloud above that we are all familiar with is a testament to the fact that the project of development is saturated with too many agendas, too many goals, too many hopes and too many questionable measures of success while on the other, the development roil is incoherent, illogical, risky, unsustainable and unsatisfying. The development environment is perfumed to saturation by nauseously sweet ideas, concepts and activities that fail, despite best efforts to hide the malodorous stench of the messy, murky, mucky swill swirling underneath that cosmetic crust. The Greens reduce the buzzwords to holistic singularity and mitigate the negatives and manage the madness of development confusion, winning with the people, for the environment with passion, compassion and panache.
