Monitoring exercises determine that the community grown saplings are doing well while those of the government have all died. Instructions are given to collect mature propagules for planting at the appropriate time.

After many delays due to the pandemic and the resulting lack of planting materials the project gets underway with the initial planting phase run over two days. A total of 1500 saplings are planted of which some are from government sources.
